Instructions

  1. (Prepare the Batter) Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate chips together, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar and eggs until well combined.
  4. Slowly mix the egg-sugar mixture into the melted chocolate and butter until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour and cocoa powder.
  6. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, add water, and mix until just combined.
  7. (Bake the Brownies) Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. (Cool & Serve) Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing.
