  • Traditional Pearl Couscous 1 cup
  • Water 1-1/3 cups
  • Soy Sauce 2 Tbsp
  • Seasoned Rice Wine Vinegar 2 Tbsp
  • Peanut Butter 2 Tbsp
  • Black Sesame Oil or Toasted Sesame Oil 2 Tbsp
  • Sriracha Chili Sauce (adjust to taste) 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 Tbsp
  • Carrots, shredded 1 cup
  • Green Onions, chopped 2
  • Cilantro 1/4 cup
  • White Hulled Sesame Seeds 1 Tbsp

Prevent your screen from going dark as you follow along.

  1. Cook couscous with water according to package directions. Or you can mix the two together and use the white rice setting on your rice steamer. Let cool after cooking.
  2. Meanwhile, mix together soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, peanut butter, sesame oil, hot sauce and sugar to make a dressing.
  3. When couscous has cooled, mix with carrots, green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds and dressing. Mix well, chill and serve. Makes 4 serving.
